We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our senior clients through high-quality care and professional expertise.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and wound care.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and mobility support when needed.
- Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, and families to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Provide health education to clients and their families on chronic conditions, medications, and healthy living.
- Ensure accurate documentation of care activities, assessments, and health changes.
- Supervise and guide caregivers to ensure adherence to care protocols.
- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in British Columbia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or home care setting (experience with seniors preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector screening.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is an asset.
