About Bahar Babasadegh
My name is Bahar Babasadegh, and I am a trained nurse with 20 years of experience as a healthcare worker in Vancouver, BC. Helping people, especially seniors, has always been my passion, and I’m honored to share my story with you.
Last year, my mother became seriously ill and required surgery. As the pandemic prevented my family from traveling, and my father, a senior himself, was unable to care for her, we faced the overwhelming challenge of finding the right caregiver. We needed someone who not only possessed the necessary skills but also treated her with the kindness and compassion of family.
After weeks of searching and meeting with caregivers, we finally found someone my mother felt comfortable with—an experienced and caring professional who brought peace of mind to us all. It was during this difficult time that I realized how challenging it can be to find trustworthy, experienced caregivers when you're far from your loved ones.
This experience inspired me to create Green Umbrella Senior Care, a team of dedicated and skilled caregivers who provide the same level of care and compassion I wanted for my own family.
